When a health company buys a branch of pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, and other related businesses, it's quite easy to fall into a branding mess. So, we proposed a one-year transition where the newly designed Alivia logo was introduced beside the other subsidiaries'. We even reverse-engineered the brand design to maintain a sense of familiarity among current clients. At the same time, a brand architecture was created to give sense and order to each subsidiary with its own identity (Alivia SP, Alivia HUB, Alivia HD, etc), along with a visual language that tied them all together.
Alivia is a true case of how to properly merge different business lines into a single entity—smoothly. Three years later, Alivia has continued to grow successfully and positioned itself as the local leader in the industry. That is where we came in to add strategy to the new branding formula, and to create a brand architecture that not only makes sense but also supports the employee communities as they became part of a bigger and stronger organization. What you see below is just a glimpse of a structured system that is much more complex than what it seems on the surface.
